Team Portugal Roller Derby is Portugal’s first national women’s roller derby team. The dream of starting a national squad began in 2011, but it wasn’t until 2013 that this dream began to take shape in anticipation of the upcoming 2014 Blood & Thunder Roller Derby World Cup taking place in Dallas, Texas USA.
The current training squad is composed of 26 skaters and 7 staff members who play in leagues all over the world (Portugal, Belgium, UK, Finland and USA), and are eager to play as one at the European Roller Derby Tournament.
