Team Spain is especially excited about taking part in this tournament in Belgium since it is going to be our first opportunity to really exist and compete as a team. This is the first time Spain puts together a roller derby national team, since the sport is so young in our land, and we are immensely proud and thrilled to be able to write roller derby history in our country. We cannot wait to meet other national roller derby teams whom we are sure share very similar experiences and backgrounds, and of course to go up against stronger, more experienced teams than ours in order to learn and ready ourselves for Dallas.
